What you are buying

One scheduled visit to your site in Ghana by a trained, vetted Obrempong inspector. During the visit the inspector follows a strict checklist, photographs and films what is visible and accessible, and records factual notes. The evidence is uploaded the same day wherever network conditions allow, reviewed in the UK, and turned into a written report in plain language.

What your report says

Your report tells you what was observed, what was not observed, and what could not be verified, each supported by evidence. It ends with an overall consistency finding: whether what you were told about progress substantially matches what is on the ground. It also suggests questions you can put to your builder, and if anything appears to need a qualified professional such as an engineer or surveyor, the report says so and names the discipline.

What we never do

We never tell you whether to pay or not pay; that decision is always yours. We do not supervise, instruct or manage your builder. We do not provide engineering certification, structural assessment, valuation, legal advice or land title confirmation. We report what trained eyes can observe on the day, honestly, and nothing more.

The price

Our launch price is 199 pounds for one full check in Accra, Kumasi or Tema, paid before the visit. Other locations may be possible on request and may carry a travel supplement agreed with you first, in writing, before you pay anything.

Access and honesty

You arrange for the site to be accessible and tell your site contact that a documented progress visit will take place. If access is refused or an area is locked or unsafe, the inspector records that honestly and the report says unable to verify for those parts, with the reason. An honest unable to verify is part of the service, not a failure of it.

Changing your mind

You have consumer cancellation rights under UK law when you buy online, including a cooling off period. If you ask us to carry out the inspection quickly, within that period, we will ask for your express request in writing, and if you then cancel after the visit has happened, the service has been delivered and the fee is due. We will always confirm dates with you before anyone travels.

If something goes wrong

Tell us at hello@obrempong.com. Questions about your report are answered as part of the service. If you believe a finding is wrong, we will re-examine the evidence and correct anything that needs correcting, with proper version control so nothing is quietly changed. Complaints are answered by a human, not a template.
