Entering a trading relationship in Ghana, or paying for goods and assets you cannot stand in front of? We go to the ground, establish the facts, and send you the evidence, so you decide on what is really there.
A manufacturer or exporter abroad, in China, India, Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, is asked to ship goods to a company in Ghana, appoint a local distributor, or extend payment terms. A business or an individual is paying for goods, machinery, a vehicle or stock in Ghana they have only seen in photographs. In each case there is a claim, and a real amount of money about to move against it. We check the claim first.
Doing careful checks before choosing a trading partner in Ghana is exactly what international trade guidance already recommends. What has been missing is someone reliable, on the ground, to actually do the looking. That is our work.
Before you ship goods, appoint a distributor or agree payment terms, we independently establish factual information about the proposed Ghanaian company. A supplier tells us what the company has claimed, for example three shops, a warehouse in Tema and a distribution operation across a region, and we go and see what is actually there.
Independent observation of goods, inventory, materials or a delivery at an agreed location. We confirm that it exists, where it is, its visible condition and, where reasonably practicable on the day, the quantity, and reconcile what we see against what you were told, within the agreed scope.
Independent confirmation of the existence, location and visible condition of equipment, machinery, vehicles or other agreed assets, before an important decision or payment, with the same photographic and location evidence.
For a supplier weighing a distribution agreement worth many times our fee, a proper check on the ground is a small and sensible cost. Our UK office agrees the scope and looks after you; our Ghana company does the field work.
We report what we observed on the ground, and nothing more. We do not give credit scores, we do not rate anyone's creditworthiness, and we never promise you that a company will pay or that extending it credit carries no risk. Those judgements, and the commercial decision itself, stay entirely with you. If you need a formal financial or credit assessment, that is the work of a licensed provider, and we will say so rather than pretend to be one.
We report what trained eyes can observe on the day. A visual check cannot confirm that machinery will perform to specification, that goods meet a manufacturing standard, or that documents behind a business or an asset are valid beyond what public records show. Where that assurance matters to your decision, your report says so and names the specialist to engage, and if you wish we can arrange for an appropriate specialist to attend alongside us, agreed with you in writing first.
Tell us what you need verified, the company or item and where it is in Ghana, and when you need to decide. We will reply within hours with how we would approach it and a written proposal for the scope. Every verification is scoped and quoted individually, and everything is agreed in writing before you pay anything.
